Homework

Tonight is our first night for homework. Normally we will have a homework sheet to write down the homework, and then you will sign the homework sheet that  your child completed the homework. But since we only have one night this week, I opted to skip the sheet. Your child has a math page (side 2B) that will need to be completed and returned tomorrow. They should be able to complete most, if not all of it on their own. We have talked in class that it is REALLY important that they share what it is that we have worked on in class with you, to help you better understand what we are doing in  math. They also have their spelling journal with them. This is strictly to get them into the habit of the journal travelling back and forth. Once we start practicing the second grade words it will be really important that they practice them on a regular basis. This is why the journal goes back and forth each day.
